Overview

The Nook is an eBook reader device that was created by Barnes & Noble. After the successful Nook 1st Edition, they also launched the Nook Touch, Nook Color, and Nook Tablet. The Nook Color is like a mix between an eReader and a tablet, and the Nook Tablet runs on Android.

The original Nook is about the same size as a paperback book, except only half an inch thick. It has a paper-like display. The touch screen uses E-Ink technology. The Nook has a built in 3G Wi-Fi connection for downloading content directly to the device. eBooks can also be transferred from your computer to the device via USB.
