 Hiebook
Overview
The hiebook eBook Reader was an eReader that was released in 1999-2001 and
manufactured by a Korean company. Its native ebook file format was KML (.kml),
based on HTML text.
At the time of its release, it was a fairly advanced device for the time. It
could play MP3 files, was navigated with a stylus-controlled touch screen as
well as buttons on the side of the device, and it could display images as well
as document files. It was compatible with Windows 98 - XP. It ran on an
operating system called emOS.
eBook Reader Software or Apps
- This device came with Librarian software that was used to manage ebooks
and other files between the computer and device.
